January 2019:
The beginning of the year found me laying a hedge in Lympstone. John had found me via the National Hedgelaying Society of which I am a contractor/member.
John was very pleased with the results and says:
“I would just like to express my gratitude for the absolutely first class job you did in laying my hedge. Further, I have numerous compliments from my neighbours. Really, a lovely job”
Like many a January, it was cold, however, John topped me up with coffee from time to time. I really enjoyed this job. It was nice to have an occasional quick chat with friendly dog walkers and the work was accompanied by the sound of a babbling stream in the background.
